Goodwood Festival of Speed: BMW 450 GS First Ride

What a day! I got a last-minute call from BMW to ride the brand-new 450 GS at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and it was pure chaos from start to finish. Between sleeping in my half-renovated van, a major helmet drama that almost kept me off the track, and arriving at the starting line with literally seconds to spare, I was absolutely terrified. I was this close to crying and running away, but as soon as the light turned green, the adrenaline kicked in, and this bike really surprised me. It was such a blast pushing the 450 GS motorbike up the drive, even with a flapping mirror I accidentally knocked on the way in!
