We finally decided to take on the legendary NC500… but probably at the worst possible time for motorcycle touring in Scotland, March. Before we even got started, our adventure biking trip was already going wrong. Laura took a fall, I forgot to pack properly (yes… only one pair of socks 😬), and our carefully planned route quickly turned into something very different. NC500 winter camping is not for the faint-hearted.
